The Sharp-Tail Coach is a modernized take on a truly American classic: the coach gun. Coach guns were originally used by stagecoach guards, who recognized the advantages of shorter double barrel shotguns as a means for defense. These guards often sat next to the driver – hence the term “riding shotgun”. The Sharp-Tail Coach itself is an authentic reproduction of the original, but features some contemporary upgrades to enhance performance. It features a single selectable mechanical trigger, which allows the user to choose which barrel fires first. The barrels themselves feature a black hard chrome finish for excellent weather resistance. The receiver is color case hardened similar to the original coach guns, this gives the Sharp-Tail Coach superior durability as well as a distinctive, retro appearance. Together, these features make the Sharp-Tail Coach an excellent choice for cowboy action shooting or home defense.
